Terms of Service

1. Eligibility (13+)

You must be at least 13 years old (or the legal age required in your country or state of residence) to register for Pollen AI, join the waitlist, or use the service. By using Pollen AI, you represent and warrant that you meet this minimum age requirement.

2. Nature of the Service & Pre-Launch Development

Pollen AI is a personal knowledge capture and organization tool that allows users to save content and generate structured notes. Core features include:

• Saving short-form video links from Instagram Reels, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts by manually pasting links into the application. (Native Share Sheet integration is planned for future releases).
• Saving images, camera captures, public web links, and X (Twitter) posts.
• Automatic categorization into structured folders (such as recipes, tools, study guides, and workouts).
• Conducting natural language semantic search across your saved notes.
• Discussing your saved notes through an in-app chat feature.
• Converting extracted steps into to-do list items and scheduling follow-up reminders.

Pollen AI is currently in active pre-launch development. Features, interfaces, and availability may evolve as development progresses toward public release.

3. Technology Infrastructure & Data Processing

Pollen AI utilizes an analysis pipeline built on Google Gemini models via Google Vertex AI and backend services hosted on Google Cloud Run. When public metadata is insufficient, a third-party extraction provider is utilized as a technical fallback.

Video Retention Policy: Temporary media streams and video frame buffers are deleted after processing completes. Pollen does not host or redistribute video files.

4. User Content & Fair Use Rights

You retain full ownership of all notes, checklists, annotations, and to-do items created in your account. You represent that you have the right or fair use authorization to process third-party URLs that you submit for personal, non-commercial productivity and educational purposes.

5. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree not to:

• Attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or overload our API and hosting infrastructure.
• Submit unlawful, harmful, defamatory, or infringing content to the processing pipeline.
• Attempt to access unauthorized accounts or circumvent technical access controls.

6. AI Output Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability

Notes, ingredient quantities, and instructions are generated using automated artificial intelligence models. While we strive for accuracy, AI models may produce approximations or errors. You should exercise reasonable judgment and independently verify critical instructions (such as food allergies, cooking temperatures, or software commands). Pollen AI is provided on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis without warranties of any kind.

7. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any legal disputes or claims arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in New Delhi, India.
